I wonder if a fellow STI 8 owner could do me a favour.......

I fitted my Prodrive springs today and I neglected to measure the ride height of the standard springs to compare!

If your car has standard suspension, would you mind measuring the front and rear ride heights for me?

<teaching granny how to suck eggs mode on>

With the car on level ground, measure from the centre of the alloy to the wheel arch, in a vertical line directly above the wheel centre. (in millemetres please)

<teaching granny how to suck eggs mode off >

I definitely think the car looks lower, but I'd like to see just how close to the 25 mm drop that Prodrive quote, is actually achieved.

Thanks very much.

Looks lower than mine, perhaos the colour makes creates an illusion!

Talizman, I have just been out and measured mine, I only picked the car up last week so its completely boggo and the measurements I get are as follows (similar to above post) Front is reading 380mm and rear is 355mm. Hope this is ok for you.

Cheers Ady

You must do a fair few miles before making judgement, they settle.
DO THE BUMPSTOPS FIRST! (see my reply to your other post)

lol, it was booked in for 4 wheel alignment on Monday too!

Guess I'd better sort the bumpstops out first or else it'll need done again (alignment)

Pics of springs fitted to car here

Front has dropped to 365mm. (25-35mm drop)

Rear is at 355mmm, so still standard? Settling down hopefully!
