Hi
i've been on here a few times before, mainly to get info cos i wanted to buy a Scooby sometime this year After writing my CRX VTEC off last month i decided it was also time to trade the V40 in for something more suitable.
So on Wednesday i picked up my silver 98S Turbo 2000 AWD Wagon The best thing is is that it's got FULL 99 spec, not sure how but it came that way from the factory. May have something to do with being registered a few days before 99, some plonker must have got it earlier:s
Anyway, it's got 2 prev owners, 45K on clock & FSSH Ordered my 1st mod today, a MRT panel filter courtessy of Rich at J/I Who i already know.
There'll be more mods to come & i know it'll be easier to make it quicker than my old CRX(236bhp BTW, i'm not stupid enough to think a standard CRX is quicker than a Scooby)
Just 1 last thing. If anybody has got any pics i can look at of alloy wheels on silver MY99- i'd be much appreciated cos i'm not too sure whether to stick to silver alloys or go for anthracite:s

Welcome to scoobynet and enjoy your new toy. You're obviously clued up enough to do some homework (on here), something which is highly recommended.
As for pictures, try doing a search - you'll find pages and pages of silver scoobs with all sorts of different alloys. Personally, I like anthracite, but I'm sure someone will tell me how wrong I am

TBH the V40 was fairly thirsty!! used to average about 26mpg. Traded the V40 in for the Scooby
I bought a 4.0 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from the same garage at the same time as the Scooby Just couldn't resist it removable hrad top, bull bars, roll cage etc!! Definately summer fun Altho the downside to that is an average of about 18mpg, or so the stats say for it. Probably be lucky to get with what i've got planned for the engine
