Back from shopping in Milton Kyens, on A5, I was just wondering why i didn't see the other scooby today. After 10 secs, there was a MY03 Sti with full body kit passing by. I flashed but no respond. Looked carfully, there was a very very old lady, maybe 70 or more driving in it. I can't believe it that such an old lady can handle that monster. Amazing. Concentrated on that, i almost involved in a crash.
So there is another question coming out. That is who is the oldest and youngest scooby driver here?
There is a lady from Marlborough called "Bott" or something. made her money from Chocolate. Very old and mad..Drives a Aston Martin. Goes to many track days etc .. And I believe is mentioned in a Aston Book.
In my area there is an old grey haired chap (age I dont know) who drives a silver EVO 8 FQ. And also I don't know if this counts but when I lost my license, my mother (in her 50s bless her) had to drive my 300BHP GTIR 200 miles down the M4 to Oxford.
In my younger days as a wielder of the white van weapon I had a dice with rather an old lady in a VR6 golf (this was when they were quite new and rare))
I have a 98 Terzo and the guy that had it from new was 71 when he bought it..... kept it for 5 years so 76 when he sold it and had a new one on order....
I might not be the oldest, but certainly a member of the Grumpy Old Men Club at 50 with a 2000 turbo wagon (and non of them new-fangled modding things on it). No baseball cap yet (either way round - although would cover the rapidly disappearing hair) but loud music with plenty of rock on it from Rammstein to Nickleback. And a Road Angel to remind me not to act my shoe size. When I remember to plug it in...................
