Just managed to put 49.39 litres of Super in my STI after running it down to the low level light. Once I switched the engine on the gauge only hits the half way mark, and has stayed like this even with the engine switched off. Anybody have any ideas or is a visit to my dealer the best bet?

I had exactly the same thing happen to my STI7, the guage sat at about half for a couple of days, so booked it in to be looked at, then it decided to go back up to full when I was driving along.

I phoned the dealer they told me to take out the fuse that controls the gauge, and it will reset itself. Only I can`t find any fuse with fuel gauge on or anything that would relate to the gauge i.e instruments etc.

Does it have a light which comes on? I have been down and half way through the red and no light came on .... At what point does it come on and how much do you have left at that point .....
