I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A SUBARU FORRESTER 2.0 XT. ON TWO OCCASIONS NOW I HAVE FELT KNOCKING ON THE BRAKE PEDAL UNDER LIGHT BRAKING IN DRY CONDITIONS WHILST TURNING A GENTLE CURVE. THE KNOCKING IS SINILAR TO ABS OPERATION BUT IS APPROX 1 KNOCK PER WHEEL REVOLUTION. THERE ARE NO WARNING LIGHTS SO MY DEALER SAYS NO FAULTS WOULD BE STORED. ALL OTHR OPERATION IS NORMAL INCLUDING PROPER ABS OPERATION UNDER MODERATE/HEAVY BRAKING. ANY IDEAS?

Could be a CV joint, wheel bearing or even loose wheel nuts. If it only happens on turns then its unlikley to be your discs or calipers

If it feels like the ABC kikin in it probably is...

Its hapened on my car too... somedays used to be ok n others used to start up again...

Turns out the sensor at the front wheels was broken... it hapened on mine after i curbed it bending the alloy

If you've curbed it,even slightly it may have damaged the sensor...

Anyway if its ok for now hope it stays ok for ya
