Mods...which option first
#1
Mods we love em , I've done my fair share I'm happy with the engine mods so far and want to do one of the following as I can't afford to do the rest just yet. I'm bitting my nails knowing what I should do next so would like a bit of ya old help on the following options.
do I ....
(1) get myself a nice set of rimms 18 or even 19"
*my standard rims are not too shabby 17"
(2) Upgrade the brakes / discs with lovely 6 pots calapers.
*my current brakes seem okay
(3) replace my crappy standard stereo and get myself and all singing dancing unit and new speakers.
*stereo is not amazing but it works
(4) replace the plassy side skirts and wack on a top notch skirting kit all round (front, sides, back)
*current standard skirts are black car is blue
oh yep forgot to tell you it's a my02 wrx already had H/L conversion back spoiler and tons of engine work.
HELP!!!

Already done the suspension, so it the brakes! and out of the 4 options I least expected to pick that one.
so how about the TSL Billet 6 335mm BIG Brake Kit , will that do the job and will I see noticiable stopping distance in comparsion to the standard wrx 4 pot brakes I have now ?

I don't have direct experience of those brakes, so I couldn't say. Suggest you have a read around the Wheels/Brakes forum.

Brakes one was one of the first things i did to my car - have always favoured this mod early on with all cars i have modded as allows exploitation of thepower you already have BEFORE mods.
given your extensive engine work - i would sayits a must!!
go for it!

Even changing the pads to DS3000 on my 03 has made an amazing difference ..... (like no fade, at all / ever) but I would love the big TSL Kit - just for the confidence if nothing else!
