Hello to all from myself currently sat in one of Amsterdams big coffee shops drinking heinekin and enjoying the local produce! Great place, great time and im very glad im not driving round here as id right my car off in no time, ive already been hit by a cyclist!

Find the rokeri (SP) its down the alley to the left of the large bulldog cafe in the liedsplien. (SP) dont go to the bulldogs or grashoppers as they are jut the tourist traps, the locals go to the rokeri better quality of produce in there

Sorry for the late reply, ive only just come around now im back home, think ive put on about half a stone of Big Macs and Whoppers.
Think we tried the Rokery as we spent quite a bit of time sat in the Sky sports satellite bar in the leiseplein square watching some of the champions league so we tried quite a few of the coffee shops around there. I definately remeber looking at it.
Not my first time there so im getting quite familiar with it. Some of the coffee shops i remember we went to, smokeys, the bush doctor, the green house effect, couple of bulldogs, noon (winner of some cannibis cup with "Blueberry") and more.
Great place and if anyone is going then hotel wise i would recommend "amstel botel" near the central station or further away from the centre (a lot cleaner) "Hotel Alders" and not to stay at Hotel Monopole unless you like sleeping with mice!!
