Not sure if anyone's come across this before, (I'm not connected in any way to the firm btw, just got a leaflet dropped on my desk) but its called Tyreseal and basically its a liquid rubber compound injected through the tyre valve. The pressure keeps the gunk on the outer wall of the tyres and in the event of anything piercing the tyre, the rubber compound is forced into the hole thus preventing pressure loss. Dunno if it's any cop or what, make of it what you will ...

Apparantely the police use something similar to prevent their own cars going over the "stinger" and being left immobilised.

I have heard it works well (dunno about on performance cars) but its meant to be a pain in the @rse when you have to change tyres.

i used this stuff for my mountain bike a few years back but it was called slime (it was in a green squeezy thing) but it was the same principal ive never heard it being used in car tyres though!!!!

good gear anyway
