Lancaster Sevenoaks lost franchise?

Got a letter today - "Lancaster Sevenoaks no longer represent the Brand". Franchise now operated by Oxted Motor Co - but from same premises.
Wierd - but thanks to previous threads on Scoobynet and lack of help/interest from sales staff, bought new car elsewhere, despite this being my local and where I purchased Classic from 3 yrs ago.
Anyone know why?

Hmmm, interesting. That's where i've purchased my last two scooby's. Haven't been there for a quite few months as I had my last service at Barretts.
I guess I should have a letter on the doormat when I get home.

I was told that the lease holder of the site at Pangbourne wants the site for something else. Presumably he can make more money from redeveloping it. I also heard that Lancasters at Sevenoaks may be closing as well.
