Friday traffic chaos in Portsmouth.

Took me 55 mins on Friday to travel what would normally take me 15 minutes. Traffic jams across Portsmouth.
Found this in the portsmouth newspaper The News:
FOUR people had to be cut free by fire crews after a devastating head–on crash on Portsmouth's busiest road.
Huge tailbacks stretched back to the M27 following the accident at 7.15am at the junction of Eastern Road and Anchorage Road, just past Safeway supermarket.
A Subaru travelling south smashed head-on with a BMW and a Honda travelling north on the Eastern Road. There is no central reservation or crash barrier at the spot.
Firefighters worked for an hour to cut the driver of the Subaru free, and the roofs of the other two cars were also removed to rescue the other drivers.
Amazingly, none of the three drivers nor the woman passenger in the Honda were seriously injured, though all four were put on spinal boards as a precaution.

Someone where I work told me the Subaru was an Impreza.
I wish all involved a quick recovery.
