Well managed to sell my CTR instead of trading it and got a few extra helpful pounds.
Just got to wait another 3 1/2 weeks for my WRX. Damn.
Still, at least they are lending me a brand new forester to drive about in til it comes.

Its WR blue. It's an ex Subaru demo, so i have to wait for it to be three months old before i get it. October 10th.
£17k. 3k miles only-max.

Good move m8, collecting my STI after 2 years of CTR ownership and can't wait.
Power with handling and traction is what counts.

I dont think the WRX will be quicker than your CTR. I think you will need PPP to see a difference. Get the dealer to do it before you pick the car up thats the best move I think.

I changed from a CTR to a wrx and I thought it was quicker - and it was a damn sight more capable over a rutted B road

I've got both (well the mrs has the civic, slightly fettled with hks exhaust and induction kit, also variable vtec from 5.5K to 8.8k with upped rev limit) I have a MY00 with PPP, and if we're cruising at 60 and I floor it she keeps up with me easily....dare I say that at about 130 the civic pulls away a bit but hey I got a thick flame suit.

Them ctrs are quite quick. I was following one, after he nearly drove me off the road. I could gain ground easily; though he might not have been using VTEC properly vs. my MY99 decat/tek2 5dr.
