Decision time...................HELP!!

Currently have UK300 MY01 51 plate, mint got 12500 miles on it.
Been offered a really good deal to go to MY03 PPP, but need to fork out for better spoiler and sill painting.
Only slight problem is my insurance company (elephant.co.uk) have said they wouldn't cover the PPP as it is a remap?
Should I keep what I have and have no hassle? (not sure if MY03, even with spoiler, will look as good as my UK300)
Go for the MY03 with PPP and tell a wee fib and only declare exhaust? (silly I know but how many others are doing the same)
Get MY03 without PPP, and get PPP later. (will it ever happen this way, PPP was the main reason for wanting MY03. Wife might find another use for PPP money by early next year, bambino due in January)
This is really beginning to naff me off now.
I have the spoiler unpainted sitting my garage now (arrived today), car is at dealers waiting on me making my mind up
What do you think?
Cheers

Personally I would keep the UK300 - "If it ain't broke....etc" Seriously tho, don't think you would gain much more in going for the MY03PPP - isn't really any quicker and IMHO doesn't look as special. At 12.5K, plently more miles left in the UK300 yet
Keep the UK300

Bogie - I'd stick with the 300 for now if there's any question re funds. Also Mrs & bambino come first.
What am I saying? Just get the fecking car. Its a four door saloon with excellent child seats anchors. What more could she want?

Cheers guys,
That's 2 votes to keeping UK300. (3 if you count my wifes)
Bogie
PS Was fine with UK300 until some nice Suabaru Sales Manager gave me a shot in a MY03PPP, bar-steward

Bogie, forget elephant, they sound like a lot of dumbos. Also who doesn't just hate that bloke in the advert?
I'd keep the uk300 for now, they look great. Save your dosh for something significantly better and then go with a proper insurance company. Privilage were only too happy to cover my ppp 02.
