Does anyone know about engine knock ?

 

what sort of knock..

Detonation - knock

or

Piston slap - knock

New at this ! But yer piston slap!,thats the name i was looking 4, only owned car for 3 weeks

 

does it sound like the sound clip here

I read your car is an MY00, its not usually associated with this year of car..

Oh, It does it in the morning, then after about 10mins it sounds totally smooth.

 

If it dissapears when warmed up it sounds like Piston slap, but that would be unusual on an MY00, so maybe not?

I read somewhere a minute ago,that i would need to replace the fourth piston,then i read that was not good and that all four should be changed,then somewhere else somone said dont worry,

i am totally confused !
