I'm seriously considering adding a Dawes devices to my otherwise standard MY02 WRX. Tesco want to know what power increase it will have - anyone got some figures ? Also, to be safe I'm looking to get Subaru Manchester (an independant) to fit it - good idea ?

It will almost certainly invalidate your warranty.

What boost are you going to set it to, as that will affect the performance gain.

Tesco will load you for 10% premium on up to 10% power. It shouldn't give more than that at sensible boost (i think).

The car is 18 months old and from Belgium so I'm not sure what value the warrenty has. In terms of boost, I don't know. This is why I was going to get a specialist on it. I cannot afford to risk blowing the engine.

If I knock over a row of school children at a bus stop, I'm sure they would take my car apart and find it.

To answer the question; about 30bhp, for an "average" mapping and boost setting.
