Engine wise it is a standard MY01 WRX though some will have PPP giving 250bhp approx.

Differences from the standard WRX
boot spoiler
front lip spoiler
sti style seats
uk 300 floor mats
gold speedline 18" wheels
individual numbered plaque
WRC headlights
and probably a few other bits

S.B. Thanks a lot thats the sort of stuff i needed, still can't make up my mind though. Do I spend 2k plus my my/02, and get the uk300 (with ppp). Or keep it and spend 1.6k on a ppp for mine. I don't know which? What would you do!!!!

depends on milage difference, age difference, your preference, difference in condition of the two, main dealer history or not.

Tyres will be expensive on 18's, check there is loads left if not try and knock some cash off. Tell them (dealer I assume???) your dilemma and see if they will do the swap for £1600.
If it was me then I would be tempted especially if yours is completely standard and both cars are of the same condition.

At the end of the day you should get more when selling a UK300 in x years time.

backbox is essentially the same on both cars then and the morettes it's up to you.

Would you be happy taking on a 30k mile car, do you do lots of miles, does it look looked after.

Your choice at the end of the day but try and work on the price. I am assuming it has had it's 30k service, if not then include that and see what else you could be entised with (e.g. flaps £400)

Do you want the car?

If it was me I would keep the car I have and be happy as I would know the history of the 2.7K miles I had done. Apart from cosmetics there isnt a huge difference so its not like going for something with a big step forward. So unless you desperately want a UK300 then personally I wouldnt bother and keep the MY02 and buy the PPP.

No-brainer as far as I'm concerned. An MY02 with 2700 miles is a much better bet than an MY01 car with a few bolt-on cosmetic bits with an extra 27,300 miles on the clock, especially when the time comes to sell it.

Keep what you've got and get the PPP

On an MY02 about 35-40bhp and 40-50lb/ft torque extra
