for a list of optimax stations goto http://www.shellstation.biz/ click on the union jack and the choose the route planner, this will list all the fillups along your route

there is a shell garage at gordano services
just after the avon bridge on the m5
but cheaper is the shell garage in clevedon
2 junctions further down
at the top of the slip road
go around the roundabout taking second left
at the next roundabut take 3 left
at the mini roundabout take first left
shell garage is on the right
save 4p a litre
for a 3 min detour
there is another at sedgemoor sevices
just after the weston super mare juntion
but again motorway prices
dont know about any others going south
but i am sure some of the devon lot will
be able to help you

hi going to Newquay 2morrow from Newcastle and is optimax or super unleaded avaliable at most motorway service stations coz i cant get a map to tell me on the shell website

please help i leave in the morning!

All the shell garages on the A30 and A303 have optimax although that said there isn't many.
Not sure about M5

If you cant find a shell texaco are your next best bet.

Keep some octane booster in your boot just in case you can't find Optimax.
I don't use an octane booster with Optimax, but I keep some in the boot in case I get stuck and have to stick 95 in.

Just got back from scotland last week and found that all welcome break service stations are shell garages and they had optimax
