I have ppp on my 02 WRX and it does make a noticable difference in torque and mid range performance, The backbox does look nice but does'nt burble as much as some after-market systems. I would say on a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being very loud it would just border 3.

The main benefits of prodrive I feel are that your car performs much better than standard but still carries the subaru warranty, seems to be very few other car manufactures willing to do this, so thumbs up to the subaru and prodrive partnership.

I'm very pleased with prodrive (ppp) but I do feel though that it needs more throttle response and a tad bit more torque. Atm I'm very tempted to change the air filter to a performance panel air filter, replace the second cat and third resonator sections. But it comes at a cost of impacting your warrenty.

more Grin factor V Warranty, hmmmmm!!

such a hard decision

After some research into the "FLAT SPOT ISSUE" i did decide to go for the ppp on my 03 wrx.
Have never regreted it for a minute, she pulls a lot harder threw all gears, and when in town i feel you have less gear changing, because the extra torque helps push ypu along.

Having said all that!, and after 11000 miles, 7 with ppp, i had to let her go, yes, sold her, for what?. STI 8 PPP of course.
pick her up on the 1st sept cant wait.

I've got an MY01 WRX PPP.

Spend the money - by all means - its well worth it... i did and have never looked back.. feels like a different car

Its warrenty friendly - however for bangs per buck - but invalidte your warrenty - go for a ECUtek remap with full exhaust system - more power and torque (for about the same $$$'s) (see scoobysport etc) ~ but no warrenty

Some people stateside seem to be disappointed with the PPP Stage 2...

I am still stock except for the WRSport, but it seems very strange to me that if they were going to get rid of a cat, they would pick the last one, instead of the uppipe/downpipe. I want low-end!

Butdyno,
As you quoted PPP satge 2 I can assume you are in the USA in the UK we only have the choice of 1 PPP for each model but it does carry a Full 3 year UK Warranty

Steve,
Prodrive seems to think that changing the induction on a MY02> PPP will produce no gains, but could produce leaning out and engine go Bang the other thing is Warranty void

Jza,
I agree if uninterested in Warranty get Full exhaust and Ecutek it. then you'd be better to go the NON UK route

IMHO
