Scooby's & Bikes!!!
#2
With this being my 1st month on Scoobynet, i have noticed how many scooby owners have bikes!!! I myself am bikeless at the moment but am keen on getting another 1 soon, but not sure on which. In the past i have had : 1100R Eddie Lawson rep, Katana 1100, Harris Magnum 2 GSX 1260, to name a few. Could do with some input on what scooby's & bikes you have got & how they perform & handle?
Thanks

I've had
Suzuki RG125FUN
Cagiva Mito Evo
Aprilia RS125R
All great fun, wring 'em out completely and with 33BHP in the italians they were adequate in the twisties
Yamaha Thundercat
Yamaha R6
Suzuki SV650S
Honda NC35
Honda Africa Twin
Kawasaki ZX6R '01
Kawasaki ZX636R '03
The last kwaka is my favourite all-rounder, SV650 had amazingly confidence-inspiring handling but brakes and lack of power sucked.
Then I've had
MY97 Catalunya
MY99 PPP
22B Type UK
'01 WRX
'03 STI PPP
'03 Forester XT
I loved the MY99 and the 22B, only sold the '99 'cause I could get the 22B which I still have. The '03STI probably handles 'better', but it was far less entertaining IMO so decided to swap for Forester;s practicality.
Bike vs car just isn't relevant..scoob has given the most fun though(up on the singletrack in the Highlands of Scotland where gravel and mud are significant detractors from bike fun)
Phew.
