Had my last 2 cigars (cafe creme mild's) this morning, got some Nicotene patches from the chemist, threw my last few cigars away, and have now give up (again!).
So, to keep myself busy today, I took all my wheels off, thouroughly washed and waxed them, then did the calipers in smoothrite red and humbrol silver enamel paint.
I know it's a bit pimpy, but I like it, and it has kept my mind off the dreaded weed today,
chris.

Good job, a light dusting of siver paint on the wheel nuts would have capped it all off.

Stand back admire, and have a ciggie.

thanks for the comments guys, nice one.
shark, it has taken me long enough to do mine, no way can I do any more, sorry, maybe when I give up drinking??
Yoza, I forgot to mention, I have some brand new nuts on order, due to be picked up from jap innovations in a few days. That will cap it off alright.
stand back, admire, get the shakes more like
LB4, they are TSL GPN Front disks, grooved, with Pagid Blue front pads. The groove acts as a wear indicator too!

thanks again guys,
frenchie, I am not really bothered about the tyres mate, but thanks anyway.
dazza, I hate gardening, sorry, but I know what you mean, I'd given up for over 6 years, then last year on holiday, started on cigars again, and couldnt stop, but have now, not had one ALL DAY, (except my last 2 this morning!)
phil, no and no, I have done this to 3 cars now, and each time had no probs with pads, just gave the calipers a good clean, then carefully brush on smoothrite, then bang the wheels back on, and test my brakes!
hehe.

Phil, I got mine from my local auto shop, but any diy store will sell it, make sure you get smooth though, not rough!
Thanks once again for the support, watch out for me on sunday, I will be the one biting my nails to the bone!

We painted ours with gold hammerite but we only got the small breaks at the moment!
If he's lucky I might be generous at Christmas!!!

I have the same wheels mate but yours look cleaner than mine have ever been.

I bought new shiney nuts too.
Those oem ones rust dead quick, that's poor IMO.

Well, second day, no cigar, no patch even, and just been to stockport town centre shopping, bit stressed but not too bad.
Thanks for the concern jimmy, I'm holding out, and already getting on the wifes nerves about her smelly bad habit, hehe.
