Anyone know whats going on with this ? There seems to be little bursts of activity then it all goes quiet.
I was advised that it was illegal to take money for goods that had not been despatched. Thats must have been 18-24 months ago.
Whats the score and when will we get it ? I wonder how many other people have paid for this already. The pennies must have mounted up.

Hi All
Sorry to have to be discussing this again like this.
Firstly, very few people actually pre-ordered it.. and (technically) it was the "pre-order" we were selling at the reduced price rather than the actual product.. but that's just a technicality, I'm sure you wouldn't really be suggesting that we did something illegal.
We have refunded around 5 people so far, who were unwilling to stick it out (that's absolutely fair enough) but the rest (I assume) are willing to say "it's only 12 quid" and it will be worth it when it eventually does arrive.
The latest is this...
chiark has kindly (although probably stupidly!!!) offered to take this on. We had a bit of confusion over some non-received emails, but I'm hoping that has been rectified now. I'll find out what the latest is and ask him to comment.
Apologies again, the catalogue of disasters has been long and distinguished!!
If you would like a refund of your £12, please email shaun@scoobynet.co.uk and he'll arrange it for you.
All the best
Simon

How much will it be when it's finally released? I'm "one of the five" but if it's interesting enough I might be persuaded to part with the cash again.
Just think -- since the original Scoobynews announcement we've had the introduction, then the replacement, of the MY01+ "fugly"

We're not offering any more pre-orders so that the people who have pre-ordered all those moons ago get a real benefit.
The price will be around the £20 - £25 mark, but it's not finalised.

Simon,
I pre-ordered. Don't want a refund. But I don't follow Scoobynet as regularly as I once did. Will you send us an e-mail as an when it is finished? - I'd hate to miss out on any anouncements.
