yes, you are right.

I apologise for my hasty and, upon reflection, down right rude reply.

Slow....yeah....was working at the Wolves/Charlton game so that was about 110miles each way if i recall - thought I'd better not waste half the days wages on fuel Most of the time was at 3k rpm on the motorway, rev limit for the day was 3.5k!

No, don't believe it! If you genuinely are getting the same fuel economy, either your Nova was broken, or your Impreza is...

31mpg on a recent run from Cornwall. Doing around a ton all the way ('99 Wagon with ITG filter and Magnex Cat back). Shocking fuel consumption in town though!

Fuel consumption, yes a subject that like sex, drink, speed, always incites people to tell lies. Who actually cares what mpg people get! when it's empty you fill it up simple as that.

Fuel consumption to and from work in my scoob is the same as it was in my Fiesta Zetec-S, maybe even a little better . I think it's probably because I have to work the car less to acheive the same commuting speed etc.

My round trip is 80 miles and it costs me about £10 in optimax

Andy
