Sara, if it's a bugeye, it can't possibly be an MY00. Bugeye model years are '01 and '02.

For the same reason, it can't be W-reg (unless it's had a plate transfer), as the bugeyes started to come onto the market in October 2001, when the X- prefix was in force.

As Dave has said, if it looks remotely dodgy, phone the Police and tell them exactly what you saw not what you think you saw

Probably depends whether or not anyone in the area has reported a blue bugeye stolen. If this has happened, and the Feds smell an easily solved crime, they'll probably act on the info.

Whether there's any such thing as an easily solved crime where the itinerant community are concerned is another thing though.

a little bit of subject but...
IMHO the police only solve srimes in 2 ways....

1) the criminals are grassed up

2) they are caught in the act

government should throw more money at our police (resources not pensions) instead of them making a shed load out of cameras and the like...

btw do you think if i put a camera on my cul de sac i could buy myself a new coffee machine & pool table ?? (flame suit on)

if the car spotted by sara is knicked.. then c'mon copper...do something !!!

BTW.. guy who posted was pissed at the time and takes no responsability for calling the coppers useless

Cool

The car is not stolen I won it fair and square in an illegal cockfight and the dent happend when I reversed it into my caravan trying to park it whilst Pi$$ed after wining it, I took the plates of so I could wash behind them!

There are you all satisfied !!!!

We are not all theiving, lying, cheating, deceeving, no good hoodlums.

Saw a programme the other night where the Police chased a stolen car into a travellers camp.
The thieves jumped into a nearby caravan but Police didn't see which one !
A large crowd then gathered (Travellers) so the Police jumped in the stolen car and retreated ,saying it would cause to much bother to try and arrest the thieves .
No wonder they keep doing it !
Police probably went back to nicking folks doing 31 in a 30 zone, just to get the crime statistics back on track !
