Hi fellow scooby nutters,

Do anyone in here know anything about any differences between the WRX STI 03 and 04 (if there is any), like engine displacement and other features. Will Europe finally get the same 2.5 litres as the US?

Just had the regional meeting and nothing new to report other than the new Justy (G3X) and the new Legacy 2.0/2.5/3.0. There are to be no changes to the turbo range on the Impreza line up.

Is the Justy a true Subaru platform Churchwa, or is it based on another manufacturer's design/bits - as per the previous one?

It's a Suzuki Ignis with 4WD and Subaru badges.

Yup, it is a Suzuki and just to add insult in injury they are going to bring out a 4wd version as well. They are deciding between the 1.3 or 1.5 engins at the moment and it will be out spring next year.

Hmmm,well i guess that we have to wait for the Auto show in Germany in October to find out :-) I talked to a Subaru dealer yesterday and he claimed that the Euro spec STI existed in some countries with 284 ps, as opposed to the normal 265. He also said that the US spec. 300 bhp version (2.5 litres) was manufactured in a US plant and not in Japan as the normal cars, therefore making it impossible to ship a US spec sti to europe.

Patience i guess... :-)
