Can someone please help - I have been unsuccessful logging in to amend my profile. I know the password is correct as I'm logging in and posting but I can't get to my profile or edit posts for the same reason - incorrect password. HELP!!!

Get the password mailed to you, then goto http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/login.asp

And login using the password that you have been sent, just remeber that all the passwords are case sensitive IIRC

Thanks but I was sent the same password as I have written down and it still doesnt work! Tried upper and lower case as well

Right, the login page works with said username and password in UPPERCASE but when I try to amend my profile I get the authentication failed notice - the password is correct as when I try something else it says 'password incorrect'.

As far as I know the profile login uses the same authentication as the main BBS (same table in the database).

Did you enter the information in the profil login EXACTLY as was e-mailed to you, including the user?
