To whom it may concern, a friendly piece of advice. Don't post while p*ssed, people will think you're nuts
For what it's worth, I do often wonder whether I'm in the wrong job. I'd rather spend my days taking photos of cars, but that doesn't pay well so I design electronic equipment instead.

Seems odd that you call yourself inforcer.
Are you a cop?
I only ask because it should be spelled enforcer.
Italian traffic cops used to go round in pairs, one could read, the other could write.
Now they go round in threes. The same reason, the third one just likes to hang out with intellectuals.

Taking your keys to bed is very bad advice!
leave them in the kitchen on a table or where ever but if the scum get in do you want them coming in your room with a gun etc asking for the keys? NO!
Let them take it, lifes more important!

It's true.I had a house burglary when I was upstairs sleeping. The burglars did find the crooklock keys but failed to find the car keys.Had they come up to get it,I would have got into struggle and may be,i don't know what would have happened.I mean ,if the b@stards wanna take my car,I would give them the keys, not die for it!

apart from robbing the keys, how do they nick scooby's. mine has a cat 1 imob with alarm. and even the face off stereo has a flashing lite to catch there attention, 3 flashing lights in total, even the lowest pikey dingle car theif knows that its well wired up..

alarms aside, if they want the car they will take it, keys or not, theres a post in this section about a blue wagon taken between 7:30 and 8:30 saturday morning and that had a cat 1 alarm.

I live in a terraced house and parking is something of first come first served so my scoob is hardly ever near my house, nice to know if someone wanted to steal the keys they would have at least 20 houses to break into to find out where the keys are, then if they did break in they would have to take them from under the dogs bed, good luck!!

I suppose Scums like nicking Scoobs coz they are well-talkedabout and fast. They just get a buzz of driving it rough for a bit and then ditching it.Scoob is in high insurance bracket not just because it is highpowered, but also it is highly stealable.
This newbie ( who started this thread-can't remember his name now!)is right because, every weekend there is at least one scoob stolen. You see the posts of such news here on scoobynet every weekend.

I think there is quite a bit of paranoia going on here, there are probably more fiestas/novas/escorts that are stolen at the weekend over cars like impreza's and evo's.
95% of the people (if you can call them that ) that take these cars are joyriders, just out for a blast in someone elses car, it doesnt matter what it is etc, they just want to rag it and wreck it.
The other 5% are more hardened, a professional wont need your keys to get your car, they will just take it and its gone, unfortunately the "i have slightly more brains but are still stupid" people out there will break into your house and steal your keys, these are the ones who you want to watch out for, they will do quite alot to get your car, but they are still not the brightest candle on the cake, normally these people will be after your car for parts or a robbery, so they are in the category of burgerlar/armed robber, rather than professional thief.
