I'm looking to have a car imported for me.

It will be an Sti-6 Type R V-Limited (with the blue seats) with no more than 20k miles and A1 conditioned with full SVA etc...

The guy company say it will cost me anywhere between £16,800 - £18,000 OTR.

What do you guys think of this price for such a rare car.

Go to www.powervehicles.com

These guys know their stuff and will be able to advise you if this is a reasonable price. They can also source cars to your requirements. Very nice guys, I dealt with them for my motor and would happily go back again for my next!!

Ive just seen an STi type RA limited go for 15750, this car had been repaired whilst back in this country (all original parts, supplied with the vehicle on import) with 9k on the clock.
I think 18k is very steep, and for the price id see if i could get hold of a type C (more bhp and just a little heavier, but not by much) as ive seen one or two of these for sale in the 16k region (with the electrics pack ) my01 though.

Tony,

Seems like a good price for a 310BHP scooby, any links to a more detailed spec.

Red face

There are a couple of versions of the type c though, if you give that dealer a call and see if this is the 17inch wheel version (with the bigger brembo brakes) then it is a bargain
You get the roof vent, small rear spoiler, this one has the electrics pack and a/c (plus a tracker) so its going to be quite spec'd up, im not sure about electric wing mirrors though, but yes, these are a bargain but not alot of people buy them because they come only in white (but they are capable of around the 11 sec mark to 100mph due to gearing, the extra torque in the midrange will outperform a PPP'd uk STi due to the weight difference, ie 1330ish kg v 1460kg ).
Probably my next scoob
(plus you get the dccd, abs etc )
