psi ??

It depends what you want to do as far as modding is concerned. 20 psi would cover it easily just now up to 1.4 bar or just under that. 30 psi would cover up to 2 bar, you may be happier with the 30 so you have a lot of excess indication in hand.

i have had a collins powerchip fitted to my95 wrx and its running 22psi and i have been told that that is the maximum you can run on a wrx import standard turbo anymore and it will go bang big stylee.to run 30psi you would need a much larger turbo ansd a full decatted exhaust,so i have been told.

about 13 and a bit psi is standard, chipping it and going to 22psi seems brave to me. I'm going to take mine up to about 18psi, and only then with knocklink and re-mapped properly.
I think the STI jap spec cars run about 18psi standard, though i'm not entirely sure about that.

My sti5 ran at circa 14.5-15.5 psi
It now runs at up to 28psi - but has had a lot of mods
To run at 22psi with just a chip is 'suicidal'! - as that just over 1.5 bar......... just a bad bout of fuel or hot weather running fast on the motorway and BANG............

You talking about me or the std car running at 22psi
Mine has had extensive mods and internal......and properly mapped, etc. etc, it had raised Compression but reduced advance for the time being till the water injection is sorted good and proper!
