People,
need ur advice on purchasing a turbo..
Local dealer has a June 97 "P" plate, red 4 door saloon, sensible milage 60.000, 1 owner with SH, nothing added or taken away, nice standard Scooby Turbo.
Whats she worth really? its up for £9995 me thinks well over the top.

To give you an idea, About 4 months ago I sold a 97R(facelift) turbo with a few sensible upgrades and 38k for 9k.
A lot of 97/98 cars suffered from piston slap. Worth checking to see if it has been sorted. Mine had a new short motor fitted at 20k.

How much?!?!?
There was a Terzo in last weeks Autotrader, similar mileage on an R plate for £6600, 1 owner with FSSH.
Wouldn't give more than £8k for a lower mileage 98R/S facelifted model.

Agreed, but don't forget its from a dealer.. and you are paying extra for that 'piece of mind'.
Bought mine from there 15 months ago, and now think I paid over the odds, but then, it is a well sorted and well looked after car.. and it was from the dealer so yo expect to pay more.. I assume its in Beechdales?

Beachdale valued a modded Terzo (98R) with 60k miles at £5500, when I asked them to value it as a potential private buy.
Bit of a difference in value there compare with what you are looking at...
