Question

I'm going to install aircon to my MY94, Cool Air provided fitting instructions for the dealer fit kit, which I desperately need to get hold of to walk me through fitting it. (Tried local dealers, Cool Air, S'sport etc.)
Does anyone know where I can beg, borrow or steal these instructions from ?

Mods - I've already posted to deep dark depths of the Gen Tech forum, please don't move I need them asap !!

STi wanna - how much was the MY99 kit? I'm avoiding driving the Scoob in the current warm weather as I've got a (slower) air-con alternative, so I want to air-con the Scoob. The £995 dealer price is a bit steep, so if the kit is cheap enough I'll do it myself.
Cheers

Sti wanna

Could you send me the instructions as well. I have e-mailed you separately.

Is it an easy job to fit yourself? I am pretty competent having done brakes, servicing, cylinder head rebuilds (Golf GTis) so would imagine it is not too difficult to fit with good instructions or am I underestimating the job??

thx
Ian

Anyone know how much a DIY-fit air-con kit would cost for a UK MY97 and where to get it?

Did a 400miles road trip last weekend and my mates started complaining about the heat. My reponse was to tell them stick their head out the window (whilst doing 85 on the M69 )

cheers AL

You'll all have e-mail tomorrow as the manual is on my work PC. I never actually bought the air con kit as the car had a rather expensive service due which stopped that idea! I had managed to source a 2nd hand kit from a scrap yard for about £200. Add on the cost of re-gassing and it was circa £250 for the air-con....that was a year ago BTW.
