Angry

of a subaru clutch ????? (MY00)

Had mine changed under warranty in Nov 2002 (judder)

It now has the same symptoms and as a "good will gesture" IM have agreed to replace it again

So i ask again how long will this one last? (and NO i have never been on a track or strip

Cool

PTMW! has a clutch of 4 years & 65K miles old... (MY99)

That includes 10+ (?) trackdays

That includes REVS Scoobs Vs Cossie challenge 2000

That includes TOTB 2002

That includes various traffic light GPs & other hard driving...

Fine to me

Exclamation

MY99 UK STD lasted 31,000 and was replaced whilst doing a Warranty Crank seal, so no labour charge(but was worn out) cost me just for Parts £666 (the Devil clutch)

I was told on average 90% <10kmiles 60% <20K and 20% <25K get done but very few after 30K

As far as I know my MY93 WRX still has its original clutch (not for long though!). It now has around 93k miles on it, and the last four years have been reasonably hard

Question

Dan,
My my99 was a year 00 and was a Twin plate clutch but on replacement they fitted a P1 Flywheel(due to different sizes of twin and single plate) and single plate Clutch kit.

So is/was/now yours a single plate ?

When you guy's mention judder what do you mean? As my STI7 when cold judders when I pull away, No matter how hard I try to pull away smoothly for the first few miles it judders. Possible warranty claim? 12k miles on car
