man i have had soo many bad Experiences with garages.
i have a Mitsubishi gto aswell as by wrx type RA and this garage has had it for a month now.i am gonna take them to court ,under the trade descriptions act 1978 section 1,2,5
they have supplied me with a knackered gearbox .and they have been lyeing about alot of work they have done.

if i where you i would make my presence known ,go down there so he knows your watching him.also ask him what he has done since you last saw him.and make him give you a completion date.
better still do what i did and make him sign a contract.

another thing you can do is pay by credit card .if he doesent meet his obligations then contact your bank and they will get there people to talk to him(solictors) this is because most cards have a Guarantee

Exclamation

He may have been taken sick. If he has given good service in the past I doubt he is doing it deliberately.
You wouldn't want your car back without its bumper connected anyway.

Vinesh - Put a note through the letterbox, asking him what is happening, as there is probably a good reason.

Benefit of the doubt is best in these situations most of the time, people don't generally set out to mess you around. I remember during my driving lessons the instructor couldn't make a couple of dates, my dad rang him up and had a bit of a moan, turned out he'd been in hospital for an unexpected operation!

I gave my car in for bumper respray (Parking scratch) The bodyshop I used is called BlueGate in Leicester.

He has worked on me my previous cars, including family cars.

I handed the car to him last Wednesday and it should have been ready for collection on Saturday. I saw the car on Thurdsday and he had the bumper off the car.

But he has been closed since Saturday and my car is still in the workshop.

I dont have his home address or mobile number. How can I get my car back?

Any ideas?
