Any of you guys out there with PPP'd sti8s had a play with an EVO at all? If so how'd you get on? I got absolutely caned in my std wrx03, spoke to the guy and his was tuned crica 340 bhp ish (evo 7)so not that surprising! sure things would have been almost pretty much the same if his was standard. wondered how you may have got on?

Well I don't know about the STi but one of the most amazing thing's I've ever seen was as a passenger in Daz WRX's MY02 WRX.

We were cruising along on the motorway on our way back from Heathrow when we get behind a mint condition Tommi Mak. As soon as we got close to him the Evo 6 put his foot down and literally left us standing. He had 4 passangers in the car as opposed to 2 in ours. It was unbelievable. Daz tried to keep up but just couldn't, it was as if we were standing still.

When we eventually caught up with it at a set of traffic light's I waved as a sign of respect and the bearded overweight George Lucas wannabe blanked us. If thats what all Evo owners are like, i'd rather drive a scoob
