Hello all
This question realy concerns paranoia (sp)
Im due to pick up my V5 Type R in about 5 weeks from now from Newera or Kent to be more precise!
Ive had the offer from a mate of mine of transporting it back to Cornwall on a trailer or such like.
Cant make my mind up with this, all day sat in a landrover td5 ect then theres the agro of organising it all, the fact he lives in Berkshire dosnt help.
Im paranoid of driving it without my knocklink, gauges ect.
Will it be ok if i stay off the boost and keep to 70ish or is it risky?
Its a bloody long way to go
Oh ya, its standard engine wise apart from a RSR backbox.
I would appreciate any opinions to this

Its a car just drive it normally!!!!! Of course itll be ok @ 70mph!

what do you think it was doing before you bought it, sat in a garage looking pretty.

Drive the bloody thing, if you are really that concerned use SUL and octane booster to get near to the 100RON it will have been fed on before
