Red face

I've just added up my spreadsheet - I've spent £4682.12 on mods for the car since October 2001 !!!

& that excludes all the insurance, petrol, tyre, service costs.

Factor in depreciation, too and this car costs me MORE THEN £10,000 per YEAR to run!!!

Oh whatever happened to my lovely cheap Morris Marina 1.8 Super?

I think the clue is in the word "shock" on the title.

Yeah yeah yeah

It's all small change guys until you blow your gearbox, engine, have your 90k service and replace pads and discs all round in a period of 4 months and then add on your mods

Moan moan moan

Since 28th Sep 2001 I've spent £3973.75 in total on my MY99 Wagon (Mods, insurance, tyres etc etc etc)

Might sound a lot to some people, but what a f**king laugh I've had in that time.

Money well spent

95WRX cost me £10000 two and bit years ago and a friend worked out I have spent £10000 on mods (and front diff rebuild) since. I nearly fell off my chair when he told me, I didn't realise I'd spent that much. Add to that the tyres, servicing and petrol!

Not the cheapest of toys but puts a grin on my face everytime I look at it! And when I drive it the grin gets bigger!

i spent $7500 in one year keeping my Sapphire cosworth on the road, replacing worn out parts, upping the power to 350BHP and rebilding the engine etc.

My scoob costs bugger all by comparison (tries not to think about the cost of his AP's, Leda's, ARB's, ALK's, Fuel Pump, Exhaust, Speedlines, SO2's and T1S's, oil, brake pads........ runs into a corner sobbing)
