A chance to air your un-biased opinions on the worth of my mates car!

Its a MY98 S reg Impreza Turbo 2000.
Silver, 4 door with 60k miles.
Service history and pretty much standard apart from K&N induction kit and colour coded sills!

Cheers

I'd love to say it's worth about £15,000 but alas it looks like about £9000 (give or take £500) depending on how quick he wants to sell .

Anyone traded in a similar one recently, and what did you get for it?

£9400 is a good price... especially for a trade in!

According to Parkers, it books at £6900 for a trade in, and £8000 for a private sale.

I suppose the dealers must have a good margin to work with on new WRX's so they can give great trade-ins?

Cheers

Was a good price, not sure how much margin they have on the cars, but I think they make a fair whack out of the finance (should you go through them obviously, which i did) ps they sold mine, same week for £12k

Glad I got out of mine when I did (for age/resale reasons, not driving fun), as the rate that Classic values are dropping seems to be getting faster. Must be MY03 knock-on.
