Ignore them, they might go away !

I've only been using Scoobynet for a short while, but it seems obvious that owners of lesser cars take some satisfaction in using this forum to try a little jealous dig from time to time, and many of us seem to bite, easily.
Next time some Corsa loving pleb with a Halfords alloy petrol flap, or a nonce with a tiTTy provokes us all, just ignore it.
If their inane drivel goes without a single response I'm sure they'll get tired and go try to rile someone else.

Yeah mate, most of us let it go over our heads. We all know what each of our cars can do, its just that some have to try and make out thiers can do a little more. Sad really innit.

Thank God you lot didn't make me look an @rse by not replying to my suggestion.
Still, Cyber-bickering can be fun I suppose.

Must be a Nova.
Have you filled in where the no. plate should be with marzipan and stuck a big wing on top to knock 15mph off top end.

So does CorradoBoy actually have a Scooby or does he have a VW coupe as his name suggests!?!?!
I had a 300bhp classic WRX so I feel this site is still part of me. However I am buying a house so I am now piloting a 1.9 205 GTI around Cheshire. It's great fun though! So I haven't got a Scooby either!

Since I never sold off my 1988 Escort when I got my subie, I think that qualifies me as an owner of one of the lesser of the lesser cars cars here.
Or it is trolling to ask, who here has the _worst_ car that actually is a usable daily driver?

Yes I do have a VW coupe, a lesser car to the Scoob. It was great in its day, but its day is long gone! Still good fun though.
I knew of these pages many moons ago but stayed clear as I would have felt like an imposter, but now my house is sorted I can divert cash into my new chosen hobby, Scoobydom. I come here for both the knowlege, for where better, and fun. When the time is right, and the money all there (4-6 months, and counting) I shall make my purchase and join in the fun. Until then I shall read with interest and contribute with intelligence, and my tongue in my own cheek (unless there's a better offer).
My post was not intended to be derisery to owners of cars other than Scoobs, but to infantile Max/*** cruisers seeking a cheap rise.
I repeat, ignore them, they'll get tired and go to BurgerKing to test their handbrakes and blue illuminated screen washers.
Ooh, did I just bite! I think I did.

Adrian B and bigsinky - i had the 1.9 gti as well. i've just gone all misty eyed reading those posts. that was a FANTASTIC car, or am i getting all nostalgic? some bloke near me has got one for sale and i spent 30 mins wandering round it telling myself i had no interest. Really. None.
Red piping on the seats, floormats, wheel etc maybe a little tacky, but what a great motor. Miami blue? is that the light blue metallic? that's what mine was.
Enough barrelling down memory lane for now.

My Pug is a Miami blue modded weapon and I love it!
Its got a rock solid (watch me blow it now!) engine with fast road cams and a new bottom end. Its also got a diesel gearbox and the ratios are wicked. Proper lift-off oversteer too. Almost more fun than the Scoob was because the speeds aren't quite so huge! (like V-max on the M56!).
