Les, I'll bet you'll be checking out the Ledenon track close to Nimes then I'll be down in the Montpelier area myself late July/early August (not sure about the exact date yet).
Yup, the alps are the way to go to come back up again !

Does anyone ever get the 1 step forwards 2 steps back feeling?
I've been getting all my bits together ready for japfest, everything going according to plan, ready to be fitted / painted etc.
Then within 3 days I:
smash a morrette lens
my rallitec starts leaking from somewhere
and worst of all I kerb my lovely alloys

Mine's going in to the bodyshop on the 3rd for quite a bit of work, so i'm worried it won't be ready, will wait and see.
Hope you get your car sorted.

I've been quietly following the progression of your car from something ornery to whatever its gonna look like when it's finished (and it's already looking good) - kinda like a web based reality TV thing this is
Hope it all gets sorted soon Ed, and hope to see some more pics !

Edcase, I just emailed my confirmation of the order tonight - should get it in a week or two....and for a lot less Euros than my dealer wanted for the Prodrive one (1700!!! sod that ! )
I can't wait! Then, it's tints, and then it's off to Digit-Power for the equivalent of a PPP and 305bhp

Beauregard - nightmare mate, have a similar problem with RSI that I've been fighting - a nightmare when you do so much driving. Sorry to hear that.
Frenchie - may be down your way later in the year in the Scoob - will let you know.
Weaver -
Noz - No worries, got a cheap(ish) lens mate, was worth every penny You at Japfest?

If it makes you feel any better, ive spent up to 4K on my car in the last two months of which 3K was unwanted
Blown engine
new brakes
new clutch
and now having just had up-pipe down-pipe fuel pump fuel regulator and knocklink fitted, started the car up within three hours of getting the car back to see smoke rising from under the bonnet.
Opened the bonnet to see the wires running behind the intercooler glowing red like an electric bar heater. The car almost went on fire!!
I do more miles driving the feckin thing back and forth to this garage than driving to work

Crikey mate - now that IS depressing.
On the upside at least there isn't much left to go wrong.
Although I guess that's not really any compensation
