Car Bra's!!
#1
As some of you know, my 'Car Bra' was damaged at Donington and I now need to replace it.
I will be getting another one sent over from the US, and wondered whether anyone else might be interested with a view to sharing delivery costs, etc.
I already have a couple of people.
Cost is about £50 plus VAT and delivery.
Anyone else interested?
Stef.

Not wishing to be (too) critical but what on earth is it for!?
Those 2 sticky up bits look to me like they'll disrupt the airflow into the intercooler scoop?
Doesn't it cause unwanted drag?
I suppose that for individuality and ease of identity it would work, but then you're asking if anyone else wants one shipped in.
Oh well, it still looks cooler than an Evo!

Dont worry mate, i heard Northern Lassies dont wear underwear
Neil, it primarily serves to preven stone chips to the bonnet area on tracks/motorways etc.
For all you other humorus muppets, are you sure Stef didnt knick that Bra off one of your girlies??...

As Sunil has said, it is predominantly to prevent stone chips on the bonnet.
I actually have the full front set for the bumper as well, but US cars don't have headlamp washers!!!!
I use (used to!) the bra on the car all the time, and in fact the track is probably the one place it isn't really needed as much, but I like it.
The two raised sections are stablisers to prevent it flapping around at speed, but whether they affect the air flow I don't know. They didn't seem to affect performance in the morning.....or were they the cause of my spin????????
Yee gods!
That's it!
Forget I even mentioned it, get your own!
No seriously, I thought they may be an aquired taste.
I have looked long and hard at the car with and without the bra, and concluded that I really do like the look.
But that's me I guess!
Stef.
PS 'CK 1' will be out of hospital early next week, after a few minor operations.
