hi, ive just got my hands on an estate subaru impreza,sti,its silver, lowered, tints, 17inch subaru alloys, the car is in lovley condition its a real eye catcher, its a jap import, on the book it doesnt mention turbo or anything, just that its a 2.0, the only problem is the gear box, i dont have 1st and 2nd gear, as a result the clutch is now slipping, can anyone give me a rough price as to what the car would be worth if it were fixed and how much it would cost? it has 42k kilometers on the clock, also would there be anyone interested in this car as i want the non estate version,

not to sure about that one m8, you dont say what year the car is, generaly speaking the wagon as it known fetches about a grand less than the saloon. If you go on to the SIDC web site its got a good links page with a few s/h parts people, think i saw a s/h box for about 500 quid ish which would be easier than stripping yours. best way i spose would be to look around and see what other wagons are fetching, roughly 5 grand i think for a 95 maybe.

i must have been sleeping! its a 95, and i got a bargin, i paid £2500 for it, because the man i bought it off was in need of cash because he had just bought an audi rs4, and its frieghtning, ive also just got a gearbox for £250 so i think its been a good week for me, now its just trying to find someone to fit it that wont charge me an arm and a leg!
