Moderators - Any chance you could keep this here for a while as not much response comes from the interior section (tried search already)

What problems would I have in trying to fit a smaller aftermarket non airbag steering wheel to my STI7. I appreciate there are safety issues.

I believe that you need to inform your insurance company, you will either need to incorperate a resister in the airbag circuit for the airbag or stare at the airbag light being on all the time.
This is based on other cars and not subaru BTW
Other than that should have no probs

Thumbs up

Dave try an get a hold of Nito.

He is the only person I know of that supply's bosses that allow the wheel to be changed, while keeping the functionality of the indicators and extinguishing the airbag light.

I have only ever enquired about a boss and wheel for a classic, but I hope he might be able to give you some advice or even better, supply you with the parts.
