I will tell you how it happended only if you ask...

I have a 1.5" deep and a 8 " wide dent in my 95' WRX boot... it is silver and my bumper has slightly taken an impact also so it has been pushed 5mm off line and the paint work has creased a little...

What's the best thing to do...

a) Give to garage to knock and respary and sort bumper
b) Buy second hand bumper and boot and respary
c) How much should I be paying for such a job
d) Any other suggestions

Please advise...

Wink

Got a picture? It might make it easier for people to see what it looks like My thoughts would be to call a breaker and see how a much bumper and boot are and if they have them in your colour, then see how much at a body shop and weigh it up

Simon, thanks for the list... really appreciate that...

I used the rear view and both left & right side mirrors... it was one 'o' clock in the morning and I even asked my female passenger "is there anything in the drive that I should be aware of whe reversing" and she replied "no"...

Then after the bump, she mentioned "oops, forgot to tell you about the brick wall"... In the 4 years of me driving, I have never hit anything... I just couldn't believe it...

This wall was just under the height of the boot and bang in the middle right behind me... so I didn't see it...

However, she is contributing towards the damage cos it was her fault...

"oops, forgot to tell you about the brick wall"
ROTFLMFAO

Two things have come out of this.
1./ Never trust any Bird at 1am.
2./ Always drive forwards onto an unfamiliar drive.
