Question

My MY98 with 17k is now due for a tyre change. I have been quite happy with the standard Bridgestone Potenzas but would like some feedback on other tyres such as Pirelli.

Thanking you in advance.

Bridgestone SO-2 Pole positions are quite popular amongst Scooby owners as they are grippier than the standard Potenzas in the dry and especially good in the wet.

Some tests using this tyre and the Goodyear eagle F1 in a magazine I read rated these two as the best for the last couple of years.

I think the Pirelli P-zero has been rated as too soft (and weak at the sidewalls) but I could be wrong.

Have Goodyear Eagle F1-s on my 95 WRX . In the wet they are phenominal!! In the dry as good . As regards lifespan have only covered 8,000 miles so will have to wait and see. Cost me £90 a corner . Graham.
