I am looking to go for a p1 before i start spending money tuning my car up. Can anyone put some light on what my car might be worth? £££. I have a sti v5 98, 4 door , silver 24000 miles and with a full subaru service history. Small service last week. Essentially standard exception of hks boost gauge and group n disks. All sti extras. Recently undersealed and wax oiled and window tints. Excellent condition. So what do you think???? Cheers

Don't know if there's too much difference in prices between the north and south. I would say around the £12-£13K mark down here.
I've got a MY99 WRX which I'm considering upgrading to a P1 later this year.
Good luck m8.

My P1 is for sale in july/august, can email ya pictures if ya email me at Chris_G_NI@hotmail.com
It will have 45k on the clock, new clutch, bumpsteer mod, lazer aligned suspension, Magnex BB, 500 quid CD head unit, Prodrive / Alcon big brakes, new engine at 38k miles! GSD03 Goodyears on it also.

Am I alone in thinking why go from a V5 STi to a P1? I can't see the reason for paying more for essentially the same car.
PS Yes I know the P1 is a coupe based on the Type R shell.

There are a few reasons for going from a P1 to an sti, and vice versa, every person that does it has their reasons. I traded my sti5 type r for p1 and was well pleased
