Was at my local dealer's today (Stan Palmers) and he has 3 Pre-registered MY02 WRX's which they have added the following
265bhp conversion,
Prodrive back box,
morette twin headlights,
large rear spoiler
I got the impression from one of the saleman that they wanted shot of them and were open to offers,
Seems like a good chance of picking up a bargan if they want shot of them !!!

SGT had a sport on the forcourt which they had free morrette twin headlights etc... This was the MY02 model and I think they just want to get rid of them. I would be tempted if I had the money!!

The cars are £18495 if anyone is interested.
Not open to offers as this is absolute cost price.
Yes thats right a dealer not making a profit. Miracles do happen.
Grab them while you can !!!!! we don't do this very often.

Green is the best colour. Fools.
Call me different. Actually, white is my joint favourite colour for bugeyes, and will be my next car.
Sti8 RA C-spec anyone???

Ed, I would suggest you do a little double checking of your source before making those kind of claims.
The PPP is made USING EcuTek software, NOT using PE (or any other tuners) calibration files.
For your info Prodrive has the largest non OEM calibration team in the EU
Cheers

Simon, sorry, I was on a bit of a wind up, hence the
Actually though I did hear several rumours that PE did a lot of the early decoding / base maps for the Ecutek, which surely was the starting point for the software, and therefore the PPP?

Seems like you need to make better use of your ample resource then Simon!
STi7 PPP is a complete rip-off, nothing more than a crude boost clamp.
STi8 PPP is more like it, because of EcuTeK software, but not a patch on a EcuTeK re-map done by PE. Nobody knows more about the tool than the guys that put it together in the first place!
I know you guys are working to different criteria i.e must last at least 60,000 miles or 3 years before blowing-up.
Also from my undisclosed sources, Ed is not as far from the truth as you would suggest Simon.
