Now I know this is a bike related subject, and any of you who look in the bike section will know the thread.
We @ www.mcnninjas.co.uk have got the exclusive use of an Airfield for a day near Abingdon in Oxfordshire on a date yet to be finalised later in the year.

Now what the plan will be is to ride the airfield for the earlier part of the day as a circuit and in the last hour or couple of hours, if we can persuade someone or ones with a suitable scooby to join us (one with a verified 500+ bhp) Then we can do some rolling 30-100 mph comparisons between the car and the bikes there, Kawasaki ZX 600's, 900's and even 1200's if any come along.

The only restriction is that as its an Airfield in use all the time, no burnouts are allowed.
We also need some timing lights as well if anyone can supply them ?.

Is anyone game ?

Cool

The best part of this is its FREE (or for a nominal fee). I am trying to get a number limit for the participants.

Sounds like a plan - as my Scoob is nothing special, I'll come along on my bike instead

Calling Christian, David W, Mark A, Adam M, Harvey, Bob R, Pat, Disco(?) and anyone else with an "interesting" car....

When I spoke to him over the weekend, He was bouncing a number limit of 50 but this is yet to be confirmed. As this is a bike day organised for the MCNNinjas, the number of cars being able to attend will be strictly limited as they will not be on the circuit at the same time and any cones/chicanes put up on the strip will have to be cleared before the head to head can happen. Any of you on bikes who want to participate will have to join the group and register your interest.

Ash,

Can bring my Hayabusa and M5 to the party if you'd like. Sounds like fun! I know Abingdon having attended sprints and track days there. Not a bad place for a play!

OK, Its seems like the car or cars are near sorted, We also have a couple of digital video cameras to capture the best bits and have a site to stick it on which is already hosting some bits of footage. If you don't know who we are, go here for a look at our promo vid (its about 8.5 meg of mpeg)
London studio works
We are still trying to source some timing gear, so anyone who has access to this equipment and would be willing to bring it down would be very welcome.

Ash

Thumbs up

Well seeing as we are making this up as we go along, I thought we could try and give some credibility to this. What we need is 3-4 cars (scoobys of similar spec/weight etc). We already have David Wallis's car which is really right on the top of the pile in terms of power output. What we need is some others of similar spec but with lower outputs, say 500bhp, 400bhp and 300bhp or as close as we can get it (we know already that a standard scoob is way off the mark for the 600 class).
Can anyone put a car with this spec up for it. Any sensible suggestions would be welcome.

Do you have all the bikes that you need.

I have a KRS 1200 with Remus racing exhaust and Wunderlich chip, putting out an alledged 150 BHP.

I can sort a 350bhp scoob and driver.. and can arrange another fast scoob or two.. (ie over 400)...

PS mine certainly isnt top of the pile in power..
