But you will need either a V5 or a reminder notice. They've clamped down on this, you can't just wander into a post office & buy a tax disc for any old registration number.........

I had this a few years ago Molds.
Damn annoying, i argued that i should only pay the amount on the reminder.... got me no where of course.
Road tax in the UK is a damn rip off, i wouldnt mind if the roads were free from sunken mahole covers, botched utility installation repairs and potholes. Where does the £165 go i wonder? it certainly aint to maintain the roads [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

The tax is related to engine size....so unfortunately top wack for a scooby turbo 'cos they do more damage to the road and environment???????? (compared with a robin reliant)
