I could alway guess what this is, espaecially on a Friday or Saturday night assuming you are single of course !!!!

Only Joking

Mine does it to, but quickley clears with the air con switched on.

Sometimes it can be reduced by circulating the air internally and not bringing it in from outside. There should be a button near your heating controls for this

Someone may have spilt something in the car, in the boot maybe?

I had same thing after a service - nearly took it back to complain - until I realised switch was on recirc instead of fresh air - doh!
Makes it steamy every time.

leaves/debris blocking the vents below the windscreen can cause this - as can any blockage to the vents at the rear of the cabin too.

check the well where the spare tire is, take the tire out to double check.
sometimes you have water that sits there.

I had the same problem as MarkT!

I was re-circulating the air as well - the mist was really getting on my nerves!! Then a friend brought this to my attention and made me feel like a daft basturd! I moved the switch, went for a blast with all the windows open and the problem has now gone!!

These days it will only steam up if it's been p*ssing down for days...

Mine steams up scarily fast if I switch the air vent to recirculate. Don't usually have a problem otherwise.

Thumbs down

Check the jack holder in the rear - if there is a puddle in there, then this is probably the cause - I've experienced this and need to seal the rear lights....
