Lancaster Subaru Sevenoaks supplied me with a used "proven" car with the boot full of water. I asked about this and was told it was from valeting and they promised to remove it! Well they didn't and it turned out the car leaked from the indicator cluster- seals not too good I think. They said they'd fixed it but they hadnt so my scoob leaks like hell.

I appoligies if the pictures do not work, I was told they should work if I use this code.

Anyway I would just like to show you some poor repair work done by my local subaru dealership. The car went in for a leak, we were told it was repaired. Picture 1 shows the repair work done. Picture 2 shows car boot a couple of days after repair work done. Still leaking!!!!!
Has anybody else experienced problems like this?

Not sticking up for them but a leak has got to be the most difficult thing to repair. Had one on a previous car that the dealer said he'd fixed. Started leaking again so he tried again. When I went to collect the car he put a high pressure hose on the area & success - no leak. Got in and drove away only to find a puddle the next morning. Seems like the driving of the car had started it again. In the end he did fix it after 2 goes but I could'nt blame him. Only charged me for the first visit too.
Good luck anyway.

Thumbs up

Tell them to re-do it and ask for compensation (if you are out of pocket on something, like petrol for return visit) a free courtesy car AND an item of goodwill, like a model Impreza or Mug or something!!

Also, the leak fixed of course!!

Last time we had a courtesy car it ran out of petrol within 4 miles. The petrol light only came on 1 mile before it ran out (Never by a Matiz). Do you reckon they'll give us the new sti demo instead? (I wish)

I would like to thank my dealership for giving us the keys to the STI as compensation for the trouble. As you can probably tell i enjoyed it by the grin on my face(right)
