Question

A couple of mornings this week on the way to work, while sitting in traffic at idle, the engine was "hunting". Watching the rev counter it was dropping as low as 500rpm and then going up to around 1200. A blip on the throttle usually usually clears it, and I didn't see it today. Wierd though, deffinately the first time I've seen it do this in the 4 or 5 months I've had her.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Had this last year on my 99MY

Suspected the MAF, but the dealer replaced the O2 sensor under warranty and its been ok ever since. (Car has std air filter)

Having identical symptoms on my MY93 UK Legacy turbo.. Would this be the same thing? If so, any idea how much to replace and what might happen if it's not replaced soon?

Cheers

Red face

I had this on a 5k MY02 yesterday with the A/C on so I'm presuming it was just that?

Then when I got home, left it for 20 mins then had to go somewhere else when I restarted it was idling 'off beat' for about 20 seconds and took a while to stabilise???
