Also interested... although, with the enhancements that they have planned, such as data out, external sensors etc... I might wait, or will it be possible to upgrade existing ones.

Probably not, I think it runs off the select monitor info from the ECU so unless the Link ECU provides the same data....?

Sorry all, but we are not offering any discounts on our units.

Being a new product, demand is high and we have just set up our distributor network, us offering a discount will undermine the good relationships we are developing with our distributors - TSL, Powerstation etc..

Paul_M - MoTeC and Link version are under developement.

PCB: I respect ur ethics with ur trade customers and not wanting to undermine them but if you had an the opportunity of an order of, for instance, 30 units from scoobynet members would u not want that business, for offering a little discount?

Any company will offer discount on bulk buy so i'm sure your trade customers would fully understand.

it would be different if it was just one person buying from you, yes, then that wouldnt be right.

Simon has stated this quite clearly more than once now.

It's how he chooses to run his business, and IMHO it's refreshing to see someone considering the long term view rather than short term profit.

Any group buy will be cannibalising the distributors potential market for a small return. This is not good business sense.

Of course I'm second guessing that, but hats off to ethics in business.

Lightbulb

So, if not a group buy via the manufacturers, what about one through one of the distributors?
I would need to wait for the Link version though! bugger!!
